Another Successful Representative of Our School |

 On the 21st of April 2010 in Czarnków took place a district contest of knowledge about addictions, organized under the "Health Promotion Programme in the Czarnkowsko - Trzcianecki District for 2010." The competition aims to increase knowledge on the dangers and consequences of psychoactive substances. The competition was attended by teams from secondary schools of our district.
Our school was represented by the following students: Jolanta Jurgiel - class II and Catherine Wieczorek and James Sadek from class I.
The competition consisted of two phases. In the first part of the test six people were selected, among whom there was also a student of our school - Jakub Sadek. Finalists in the second stage were answering questions orally. For every correct answer they could get 2 points or 1 point if the answer was incomplete. |

 On the 22nd of April 2010. students of classes II cz and III IH together with their teachers participated in a Spring Field Maneuvers. The seventh edition of this event was organized by the Agricultural Magazine in Śmiardów Złotowski. Its purpose is to provide the latest agricultural equipment available in the market and familiarize with the latest technologies of farming.
In August the official opening of Spring Field Maneuvers, which took place in at 10 a.m. was attended by the governor and deputy of złotowski district ,the Mayor of Złotów, representatives of the Marshal's Office and others. |

Senior Students on the Pilgrimage of Thought and Prayer for the Victims of the Disaster in Smoleńsk |

 The tradition of pilgrimage to Jasna Góra shrine dates back to the beginnings of its existence - 1382. On 15th - 16th of April 2010 a wide group of pilgrims from our school with their caregivers joined the pilgrimage. Each of us went there, with our individual requests, as well as with thoughts of the victims of the plane crash in Smolensk on the 10th of April 2010.
After a night bus ride we arrived at the hill of Jasna Gora, where we greeted the day, it was 6 o’clock in the morning. We participated in the unveiling the picture of Holy Mother and in a Holy Mass, which we devoted to the disaster for the victims in Smolensk. The next steps we headed to the Pilgrim House, where there was a delicious breakfast and sipping hot tea also added us energy. After the meal, in the Chapel of St. Jack we watched a film presenting the history of Jasna Gora, a unique place in Polish history and the lives of many Poles. The world woke up when the walls of Jasna Gora when we were considering the Stations of the Cross. At noon, we gathered again in front of the miraculous image of Our Lady, where we prayed for us our case and other people, who so much in recent days experienced suffering. After covering the image, we headed south for the magical city of Krakow, which was shrouded in mourning silence. |
